Look for Your Captain Midnight De-Coder Ring!

Hail to the Dinosaurs!

1934 was a pretty good year.

The Columbia Lions upset Stanford 7-0 to win
the Rose Bowl.

Max Baer beat Primo Carnera to win the Heavy-
weight boxing championship -- setting up the
big "Cinderella Story" fight in 1935 with Jim
Braddock.

The St. Louis Cardinals "Gashouse Gang" beat
the Detroit Tigers to win an epic seven-game
World Series.

Bill Good won the Heavyweight class at the
1934 Senior Nationals, with a new record
in the clean and jerk of 324 pounds.

But best of all, the Ovaltine Co. sponsored
the Little Orphan Annie radio show -- and
gave a special handbook to all of the fan
members of the show -- and the handbook
included a secret code.

The next year, the Ovaltine Co. offered a
secret badge with a de-coder -- and a few
years later, the Captain Midnight radio
show took it to the next and greatest level
by offering a secret de-coder ring to all of
Captain Midnight's loyal listeners.

That was the same year that John Davis
shocked the world by winning the world
weightlifting championship at age 17 --
and who knows, he may have carried
one of those de-coder rings when he
made the trip to Vienna to compete in
the world championships.

Today, we're doing our best to carry on
that proud tradition.

We don't hand out Dinosaur de-coder rings,
but we include lots of other fun stuff when
we fill your orders for hard-copy books,
courses, the Dinosaur Files Quarterly,
shirts, CDs or DVDs.

I always try to include a letter or a card
(or both), or a photo or mini-poster.

If we have time, I try to sign your book
for you. (Not courses, unless you ask,
but books.)

And, of course, if you want me to sign a
book or course and include a personalized
message, all you need to do is ask -- and
let me know whether to sign it to "Jim" or
"James" or whatever name you prefer.

Use the Special Instructions section of the
on-line order form when you ask for a
special autographed message.

There's no charge for an autograph. We do
it because it's the right thing to do.

So when you get your next envelope or
package from Dino headquarters, look
inside for the special bonus. You'll always
find one.

As always, thanks for reading and have a
great day. If you train today, make it a
good one.

Yours in strength,

Brooks Kubik

not to have fun -- and that goes for your
