If you asked me, "What's the single most important thing I can do to get good results from my training?" this would be my answer. |
Hail to the Dinosaurs!
Three quick notes, and then we'll talk
training.
1. Dinosaur Training Tee Shirts
I've teamed up with John Wood to sell some
great new Dinosaur Training tee shirts - as
well as hoodies, coffee mugs, onesies (for
baby Dinos), muscle tees and more - at his
Retro Strength Shop.
Go here and take a look:
https://www.retrostrength.com/shop/
We'll be adding lots of other great new shirts
and other swag - so bookmark the site and
take a look every couple of days to see what's
new.
2. The Dinosaur Files
If you don't have the April issue of
The Dinosaur Files monthly newsletter,
you're missing a good one - so go here
to grab it:
http://www.brookskubik.com/dinosaurfiles-april2018.html
Also - if you missed the Oct, Nov, Dec,
Jan, Feb or March issues. you can grab
them here:

If you don't have a printer and you need
a hard-copy, shoot me an email - we'll see
what we can do.
Also - if it's easier for you to purchase a
one year, 12-issue subscription, shoot me
an email - we can make that happen, as
well.
3. The John Wood report, Issue 3
It's a great issue - with some really
interesting exercises and workouts -
and you can get it right here:

4. Chalk Up and Train
The single most important thing to do
to get good results from your training
is - drum roll - to train.
That's right.
The single most important thing you can
do is to train.
Not read about it (although reading about
it is a good thing to do).
Not watch other people train on social
media.
And certainly not argue endlessly about
it in forums, discussion boards, reddits,
sub-reddits, on Facebook or Instagram,
or in Facebook groups.
The most important thing - first, last and
foremost - is to train.
That's true for anyone at any age - and
at any level of development or experience.
It applies equally to any type of training
you do - and to any type of equipment
you might use.
Just train.
Put in the time.
Do the work.
Rep by rep, set by set, exercise by exercise,
and workout by workout.
It adds up over time.
So focus on the one thing that's most
important.
Chalk up and train.
Yours in strength,
Brooks Kubik
P.S. We're near the end of the line for
Strength, Muscle and Power - almost
out of copies from the last printing, and
I'm not going to do another printing any
time soon - perhaps not ever - so if you
want a copy, grab it now:

thing."
