Strength Training vs. Arguing About It

Champions like Reg Park didn't waste time arguing about training - they just went to the gym and trained!

Hail to the Dinosaurs!

Here's a question to get the week
started.

For serious gains in strength and
muscle mass, is it better to argue
about training on social media for:

1 hour per day,

2 hours per day,

3 hours per day,

4 hours per day.

or

5 hours per day?

In other words, how much time spent
arguing about training builds the most
strength and muscle?

I ask because it seems that most people
who claim to be serious about their training
spend a couple of hours every day arguing
about it at websites, forums, reddits, sub-
reddits, discussion boards, Facebook, and
Instagram.

And that's a mystery - because arguing
about something on social media is an
enormous waste of time - regardless of
what you're arguing about.

What matters is how you live your life.

What you do.

You lead by example, not by keyboard
clicks, emojis or hashtags.

That's not easy, because there's plenty
of truly insane - and often downright
dangerous - training advice out there.

And you almost feel obligated to respond
to it - and to tell people just how bad it
is.

But you're better off ignoring it - and
focusing your energy on what truly
matters - your own training.

So the answer to my question is pretty
simple:

For the best gains in strength and muscle
mass, spend ZERO time arguing about
training on social media.

Try it, and see what happens.

You may end up with a couple of great
new PR's in the not too distant future.

As always, thanks for reading, and have
a great day. If you train today, make it a
good one!

Yours in strength,

Brooks Kubik
